Oh, not sure if this helps, but when I was looking at a log, I did see that the Connection-specific DNS Suffix for Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller was blank, whereas the Connection-specific DNS Suffix for the Intel port shows. I can built a PC, but when it comes to networking, I'm very much a novice in this. I haven't tried a new wire, but I will be trying to plug the switch around the ethernet wires on the router to see if that does anything. netsh int IP reset.- netsh winsock reset.- ipconfig /flushdns.- uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers.- unplugged the router for 5 minutes, then plugged back in.- restarted Windows. Any suggestions? I've done the below so far with no change: While this is most def a solution, I generally don't like leaving a situation unresolved and would like to get back onto the Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller port. Oddly enough, when I plug the the ethernet wire to the Intel Ethernet port, the connection works again.

It has worked just fine, but out of nowhere this morning the correction is showing up as an Unidentified Network. It works again when I disable and reenable it, but its extremely aggravating whenever it happens. I am using a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller on my motherboard for ethernet, and it randomly, with no rhyme or reason, disconnects from the network, at least once every few hours. I have Verizon FIOS router, and it's plugged into the Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller. Relaktek PCIe GBE Family Controller randomly disconnects. (Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller) List of fixes I've tried: -disabling. The motherboard has 2 Ethernet Connections - Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller & Intel(R) I211 Gigabit Network Connection. Ethernet Unidentified Network no internet Solved.

I did some light troubleshooting on my Windows 10 Pro system, but I'm a bit at a lost.
